    Hear a story, tell a story! Our monthly open mic is an opportunity to tell and hear 5-7 minute true personal stories. Every month we pick a theme, you don't have to tell on the theme but it makes it more fun. Audience members welcome!

    June's theme: Breaking the Rules- A memorable transgression. Did you break the rules? Did someone else? Were you caught, or did you get away with it? Was the rule reasonable, or did bending it make sense?

    Free event, on-site donations accepted to help cover costs.

    Come hear compelling true personal stories in the style of The Moth that will make you laugh, cry, and sigh. Storytellers are from our Durham and Carrboro classes from teacher Hope Wilder. Learn more about Hope, upcoming classes, and free monthly storytelling open mics at hope-wilder.com.

    Pay as you wish, suggested $5-10 per person. Proceeds cover costs and go to tips for storytellers.
