Everything takes place at the historical landmark Bynum General Store, which opened in 1936 in the cotton mill town of Bynum, founded in 1872 on the banks of the Haw River. Our monthly story circle meetings are filled with great stories. New members are guests are always welcome to attend and, if time permits, tell a story. ASC also sponsors storytelling program each year at the Folk Art Center on the Blue Ridge Parkway: Tellabration!™ in November and a Spring/Summer Show. MORE INFO HERE |
The Southern Order of Storytellers/Georgia Storytelling Network provides opportunities for storytellers to tell their stories in small group settings or before large audiences, network with other storytellers and serve as stewards for the preservation and perpetuation of the art of storytelling.
