Ryan Dial is a citizen of the Lumbee tribe who utilizes a variety of skills to educate about North Carolina’s Indigenous peoples. During this event he leads different storytelling sessions, plays traditional flute music, and discusses Native art objects in the exhibition To Take Shape and Meaning: Form and Design in Contemporary American Indian Art.
This event is free and occurs during Community Day, which includes free admission to To Take Shape and Meaning.
