Biography
ACWORTH, GA Educate, Entertain, Inspire…. Natalie Jones can do all that. A former park ranger, teacher and librarian, she hails from Eastern Kentucky. She tells a wide variety of stories for audiences of all ages including personal, history, ghost legends, and folk tales. Her eclectic collection of stories, puppets and props insure a dynamic performance. Natalie is also a story teacher, offering workshops, for students, teachers, storytellers and librarians. She is a full -time storyteller and trainer including work with The Craddock Center in Cherry Log, GA, a non-profit organization that provides music and story programs for Appalachian children and their families. Natalie has been a featured teller at the Ocrafolk Music Festival, headliner at the Rome Ga’s Big Fibber Festival, a New Voice at South Carolina’s Stone Soup and part of the Member showcase at the Florida Storytelling Festival. Oh, and she’s a known liar winning the Crown at Georgia’s Big Fibber Festival and the People’s Choice award at the Storytelling Festival of Carolina. She also was runner up at the Florida and Stone Soup Storytelling Festivals. She lives in Acworth GA, with her husband, Chris and pup, Luna.
