The first-born son of a career militant officer, I grew up on U.S. Army bases around the world. I received a BA degree in Political Science and MS degree in Education. Following graduate studies, I established a career in education, publishing and technology. My award-winning debut novel was published in 2015. A sequel novella was published in 2018. Both were written under the pseudonym of Jackson Badgenoone. Along the writing path, I also published several short stories under my given name, Vincent James Vezza.
I manage a newspaper column targeting the senior community and am active in the Eastern Cabarrus Historical Society. I am a literacy tutor and active in our local library.
As Regional Representative for the North Carolina Writers’ Network, I manage writing and speaking activities in the NCWN Metro North Chapter, encouraging writers of all ages to hone the craft.
My story telling features a lifetime of experience and ultimately reinforces the notion that change happens.
